Candidate must have a Class A or B CDL, clean driving record and be able to pass a pre-employment screening, which includes previous employer inquiries, drug and alcohol testing, and MVR records.

Job Summary:
The truck operator will be responsible for the operation of Roll-Off trucks.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
· Performs vehicle safety and operation checks before beginning route.
· Drives varied routes daily
· Collects materials in Roll-off containers and disposes in proper sites such as the landfill or recycling centers
· Notifies dispatchers and/or supervisors of delays, unsafe sites, accidents, breakdowns, or other issues.
· Operates machinery to hoist or compress refuse.
· Cleans and inspects vehicles at the end of the day.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Ability to understand and follow directions.
· Ability to adhere to safety standards and guidelines.
Additional Requirements:
· Background investigation, including supervised drug screen, post offer/pre-employment medical screen, and verification of education, certifications, and licenses required prior to employment.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods sitting, standing, walking, lifting, and throwing.
· Must be able to lift up to 51 pounds at times.
· Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.
· Exposure to strong odors.

This is a full-time/ year-round position with over-time hours available. Typical work week is Monday-Friday, but occasional Saturday's required due to holiday weeks.
